Call for Abstracts for the 16th Annual Southeastern Health Economics Study Group Conference
The conference will be held on November 2 and 3 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The sponsors for this year’s event are the Center for Human Capital Studies at the Atlanta Fed and the Andrew Young School at Georgia State University.
10 papers will be accepted for presentation. The conference will consist of a full day of presentations on November 2 and a half-day of presentations on November 3. Each paper will be allotted 60 minutes, including 35 minutes for presentation, 10 minutes for the discussant, and 15 minutes for discussion from the floor. The number of participants in the conference will be limited. It is expected that participants will read the papers prior to the conference, and attend all sessions. The conference organizers must receive completed papers by October 22, 2018.
While submissions are invited from any geographical location, preference will be given to presenters from the Southeastern region of the United States. If you would like to participate in this invitational conference, please submit submit an abstract (maximum of two pages) in electronic format (pdf preferred) here by June 17, 2018.
Submissions may be on any aspect of health economics and may be empirical or theoretical, but should not have been accepted for publication prior to presentation at the conference.
