The ASHEcon awards committee invites you to submit a nomination for an ASHEcon award during the 2020 ASHEcon Conference. This is a great opportunity to recognize an outstanding peer, colleague, or student. The awards given at the conference highlight both burgeoning and established leaders in the health economics field. The following awards are currently accepting nominations. These awards will be presented during the 2020 Conference in Atlanta.
Nominations for all the awards are due by Thursday, February 20th 5pm PST.
Victor R. Fuchs Award for Lifetime Contributions to the Field of Health Economics
The Victor R. Fuchs Award for Lifetime Contributions to the Field of Health Economics is awarded to an economist who has made significant lifetime contributions to the field of health economics.
ASHEcon Medal
The ASHEcon Medal is awarded annually to the economist age 40 or under who has made the most significant contributions to the field of health economics.
The Willard G. Manning Memorial Award for the Best Research in Health Econometrics
This award memorializes Will Manning’s contributions to the development and application of econometric methods in health economics by recognizing the best published health economics research in econometric methodology or econometric application.
Student Paper Award
The ASHEcon Student Paper Award honors the student who wrote the best sole-authored paper.
